    About the Sheet Metal Fabrication Process for Kitchen Equipment:

    1. Core Process

    —Cutting Stage: A 12kW fiber laser cutting machine is used to process 40mm thick plates with an accuracy of ±0.1mm, making it particularly suitable for cutting complex contours of stainless steel kitchenware.


    Shearing machines are used for straight-line cutting, and punching is suitable for mass production of standard parts.


    —Forming Process: A 200-ton press brake achieves ultra-long bends of up to 4 meters, allowing for multi-pass shaping of stainless steel sheets within 6mm.


    Commercial kitchen equipment typically uses 1.2-1.5mm stainless steel sheets for bending and forming.


    —Welding Technology: TIG spot welding combined with laser welding/double-container welding increases weld strength by 30%, meeting the requirements of National Standard T19804.


    Welding for food equipment must ensure contamination-free operation.


    2. Material Selection Specifications

    --Main Material: Commercial equipment typically uses 304 food-grade stainless steel (1.0-1.5mm thickness), while economy products utilize 0.6-1.0mm galvanized steel.


    --Special Components: Water heater tanks utilize 304 stainless steel, and decorative strips utilize 6063-T5 aluminum alloy.


    --Surface Treatment: Powder coating (30-80μm film thickness) or brushed/mirror polish. Must pass a 1000-hour salt spray test.


    3. Quality Inspection System

    --Dimensional Inspection: Coordinate measuring machines ensure mounting hole accuracy of ±0.05mm.


    --Weld Inspection: X-ray inspection detects internal cracks.


    --Coating Inspection: Paint film thickness gauges control within a 30-80μm range.


    --Assembly Inspection: Laser scanners verify joint uniformity.

    • What information do you need for a quote?

      Usually we need 3D & 2D drawings (STEP, STP, IGS, or PDF), quantity, material, surface finish, and any special requirements (tolerance, hardness, etc.).
    • What file formats do you accept?

      STEP, STP, IGS, X_T, DWG, DXF, PDF are all acceptable.
    • What’s your typical lead time?

      Prototype parts: 3-7 days. Small batches: 7-15 days. For large or complex projects, lead time depends on the complexity and quantity of the parts. We will specify the lead time in our quote.
    • Can you handle tight tolerances?

      Yes, we can achieve a machining accuracy of ±0.005mm, depending on the material and geometry。
    • What materials can you process?

      We can process most metal and plastic materials. Here are some common materials: Metals: Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper, Titanium, Tool Steel, etc. Plastics: ABS, POM, PP, PTFE, PC, Nylon, PEEK, Acrylic, etc.
    • What surface finishes are available?

      Anodizing, Sandblasting, Polishing, Electroplating, Powder Coating, Painting, Brushing, Passivation, QPQ, etc.
    • Do you provide samples before mass production?

      Yes, we offer sample approval before mass production to ensure quality.
    • How do you ensure quality control?

      Incoming material inspection → In-process inspection → Final inspection (CMM, projector, caliper, etc.).
    • Can you sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)?

      Yes, we strictly protect all customer drawings and project details under NDA.
    • What’s your payment term?

      Usually 50% deposit, 50% before shipment. For long-term clients, flexible terms are available.
